The "reporter" field is redundant in "New" page. You can't change it anyway, and I surely know who I am when I file a bug.

This is deliberate. You may want to know if you're submitting a bug as unregistered/guest or as a logged-in user. Plus, this redundancy is harmless and lets the new screen look the same as the display bug screen, which makes things easier to use because the UI doesn't change.

Makes sense, I guess. However, don't guests already have a HUGE banner at the top of the webpage that tells them they are not registered?
