Hello, I found out that you cannot configure translation function properly on a linux system, while linux gettext doesn't accept .mo files to be in a local directory.
I did find out that there's a hidden option in bugdar to use a cusom MO parser.
I would recommend to have this option available by default (admin/setting.php: remove line 'if (DEVDEBUG)' ).
It took me days to find out this is actually supported and might be useful for others installing on Linux or systems without gettext properly installed.

Best regards,

Marcel
